Dia 19 de fevereiro embarcamos para mais uma viagem a Índia
com o MBA Executivo Internacional, do Profuturo FIA, viagem que faz parte desse

Day February
19th we embarked for another
trip to India with the International Executive MBA, of Profuturo FIA, travel
that is part of this course. See the opinion of Prof. Leandro Fraga who will be

rest of the world seem unreal."

traduz bem o impacto que me veio quando estive na Índia pela primeira vez. Para
além da grande intensidade de apelos aos sentidos que nos instigam na superfície
(o país apresenta uma sequência infindável de cores, aromas, sabores e sons) um
olhar mais demorado permite perceber as múltiplas camadas de cultura
depositadas através de uma história longa e complexa. Tudo isso também está
presente no ambiente de negócios, da lojinha de rua às muitas empresas indianas
que competem internacionalmente em setores de alta tecnologia. Sem contar a
capacidade de gestão admirável de quem tem que comandar equipes num país com 18
idiomas oficiais e mais de 900 dialetos em uso. O resto do mundo parece mesmo surreal.
The phrase of
the English writer and documentary filmmaker Tahir Shah translates well the
impact that came to me when I was in India for the first time. In addition to
the intensive appeals to the senses that instigate the surface (the country has
an endless sequence of colors, smells, tastes and sounds) a longer look allows
us to understand the multiple layers deposited culture through a long and
complex history. All this is also present in the business environment, the
street shop to many Indian companies that compete internationally in high-tech
sectors. Not to mention the admirable management capacity of those who have to
lead teams in a country with 18 official languages and over 900 dialects in
use. The rest of the world seems surreal even.
